Requirement of business connectivity is fulfilled via messenger and email facility provided by Blackberry. Blackberry is the brand introduced by ‘Research in Motion’ company. Few years’ back common people were not able to afford this blackberry service. Very few options were available to use email and the net.

Featured phones were available in the market and no competition was there between mobile industries.

Google has introduced ‘Android’ mobile operating system and they launched open source platform for mobile operators. Due to this definition of mobile has been changed. Journey from Featured phones to smart phones everybody knows.  Most of the mobile companies have entered in the market considering opportunity due to android platform. In 2009-10 smart phones were available for 15000 to 20000/- INR. Due to competition between mobile companies prices were reduced up to 10000/- INR All credit goes to Android. Internet surfing became very easy because of android system and we can check email as a message also. But you need to connect Internet always to use this facility

This is a very useful tool for us but it is unsecured by hackers. It is the opportunity for cyber crimes. Hacking ratio is increased due to this open source platform. Mobile operating system can be injured by hackers.  Almost 4.2 crores people are suffering loss due to this cyber crime. In last three years this crime is increased by the way of social networking.

Some measures to avoid cyber crime:

• Mobile users should take care for information on Mobile. This information also can be stolen by hackers. 
• Every mobile user should update antivirus on mobile. Antivirus avoids malwares from new dangers. 
• You should not disclose personal data on social networking sites. 
• If any email is unknown then do not click on this. 
• You must check security and privacy settings. It will help to know information about only known people.
• If internet is not required then be offline so that you can become secure on open source platform.  

Above settings are very useful for security from cyber crime.
