How to Remove Password from PDF Files Using Google Chrome

We are very well known about PDF which are password Protected. Mostly we receive these password-Protected PDF files through Banks or through any confidential mail of companies. We save these PDFs files normally into Google Drive as a backup. But we cannot find these file easily usnig search in Google Drive as these are password protected also each PDF has a unique password that we cannot remember every time. Because of this when you are trying to find these files it takes too much time later.


Removing Password form a PDF File



The Google Drive has two layer protections for PDF file one is Password and second validation which is OK. We must remove both of these thinks before uploading the PDF to the Google Drive.

The Built-in PDF reader and Writer feature is already available in Google Chrome. Using these features we can easily remove password form PDF File.

Just follow the below steps:

1.  Open the Google Chrome on your PC and then drag any PDF Password-Protected file in to that browser.

2. Once you entered the file in Google Chrome it will show you the Pop-Up window to enter the password.

3. Enter the correct password of PDF and press enter.

4. In Google Chrome File menu is there you have to in to that menu and select print option by   clicking on it or you can directly use shortcuts (Ctrl+P for windows and Cmd +P for Apple Mac)

5. Select the printer as “Save as PDF” and click the Save button.

Hitting on the “Save as PDF” option will help you to save your PDF in any location on your computer. This saved PDF file does not have any password protection. When you open this PDF file it will not ask for password.
