Smart Method to Up-To-Date your Google Contacts

Now keep your all the Google contact information up to date get the all the incomplete information about your contact list through very smart method.

In your Google account their many contacts of your friends, family and business related persons. But most of the contact in your list has incomplete information about that person. Many times only the E-mail ID is only in your contact list. Even in your family or friends contact you will not get all the information like phone number or birthday this happens because they have not entered all the information about themselves.

So how will you get this missing information?

Many when you want any information you will send an email or contact that person through phone call and told them to fill their complete information. You can also update information one by one manually but it will take too much time if you have many contacts in your account.

Now the Google give you a new and smart method to keep up to date your Google contacts.

Update Google contact:

To update procedure will be done something like this you need to select the contact from the list and send them a URL that contains from where they can fill all the missing information about them. Once they fill the form that you have sent to them then after filling that from their need click on the submit button to save all the information. Once the form is updated by that person this information is automatically updated in your contact details of that person.  

Steps to update the contact list:

• Go to your contacts in Google account
• Create a new Group
• Put all the contact in the new group
• All the contact member gets an Email about to update their contact information

Create a Google script:

• Select File -> Create a Copy to make a copy of the script in your own Google Drive.
• With actual values update the values of the NAME and GROUP variables
• Select File -> Manage Versions and save a new version.
• Publish -> Install as Web App, select “Anyone, even Anonymous” under “Who can access the app” and click the install option.
• Run -> Initialize to authorize the script.
• Select Run -> Initialize to run the script.

That’s it you just need to generate a form through the Google script in Google Drive. That form will be sent to all your contact persons to update their information.
