The Microsoft surface tablet is a better alternative for the iPad and android tablets. The looks are very refreshing with windows RT version. If you want a new thing in a technology then this tablet is for you. There are some bugs that need to fix by Microsoft.  Rather to go with just android or iPad try some new thing that what I can say.
